  • Full-time Job Summary Tailormade Protective Services, has an immediate job opportunity for an Operations Manager.
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of their assigned book of business. This position is also accountable for serving clients, staffing, reporting, as well as procedural and company policy compliance. The Operations Manager must oversee and ensure accuracy in billing, payroll, and collections for services delivered. The Operations Manager is responsible for overall contract performance and provides support to the leadership in developing positive working relationships with employees and clients.
MUST HAVE WINTEAM EXPERIENCE
The Operations Manager is the primary point of contact for all operational management functions pertaining to field operations personnel. The Operations Manager reports to the Regional Manager to oversee and efficiently implement all aspects of operations by providing quality service to assigned clients in order to ensure these accounts are operated in a manner consistent with established policies, contracts, and applicable laws and to maintain strong client relationships.
Role Responsibility:
Specific Duties and Essential Functions may vary Responsible for contract performance, service delivery and compliance Manage and continuously develop assigned team members who are direct/indirect reports Interact with all levels of management to ensure successful daily operations are met Maintain positive working relationships with the community to ensure successful client relationships Manage and continuously develop management subordinates within the organization (talent management) Ensure that TMPS contract requirements, training and development have been followed Attend weekly meetings with Regional Manager, Leadership and HR Management to align organizational goals and targets Align with and support the scheduling function Maintain frequent and positive contact with subordinates, customers to ensure interactions are aligned with the TMPS core values Review performance indicators on a day-to-day basis in order to maintain control over operations Coordinate with Human Resources and scheduling on new hire availability, and current/future demand Track/Monitor open position percentage to total headcount, call off hours percentage, and overhead to billable hours ratio Identify to the HR Manager any open positions and future demand for new employees Ensure that the Field Supervisors are managing the schedule to reduce overtime and to cover all positions in compliance with the contract requirements Work with the Scheduler to cover all shifts while minimizing any additional costs like overtime hours Address any issues, provide feedback to ensure that the needs of each individual client are heard and are being met
The Ideal Candidate:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Must possess one or more of the following: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Private Security or Law Enforcement-related fields (e.g., Criminal Justice) combined with at least 1 year of experience involving customer relationship management Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Private Security or Law Enforcement-related fields (e.g., Criminal Justice) combined with at least 3 years of experience involving customer relationship management High School diploma or equivalent combined with at least 5 years of experience involving customer relationship management Ability to meet and maintain any applicable security licensing or certification requirements for states we operate within Type and Length of Specific Experience Required Minimum of 1 year of prior work experience showing aptitude for assisting in the operational management of a large semi-independent business enterprise Experience demonstrating the ability to ensure realization of planned profitability by utilizing sound financial management principles through the use of management information reports (Profit and Loss, Job Profitability, etc.) Experience with mentoring Field Supervisors and scheduling staff to ensure client expectations are met and the proper tools are in place for continued success Experience ensuring correctness and compliance to contractual requirements are consistently communicated ahead of the advance schedule Demonstrated ability to manage overtime costs through scheduling practices Skills Required Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Effective oral and written communication skills Active listening skills Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately Attention to detail Other Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher Must posses a NC/SC armed security license or the ability to obtain licenses in both states. Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military Must posses a valid drivers license Winteam experience
