Security personnel will be under your command while you develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain security standards. As Security Site Manager, you will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills. You will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. Since you will have several people under your responsibility, you must also exhibit leadership skills. The goal is to create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and well-protected. Responsibilities Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses Actively Recruit, train, and supervise security officers and guards Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms Write and/or review daily reports on incidents and breaches Investigate and resolve issues Recruitment, hiring, training, and retention. Ensuring quality of service, contract compliance and that that operational KPIs are met (Key Performance Indicators) Leading the team in incident management and conflict resolution Completing effective health & safety assessments, risk assessments and site evaluations Supporting and developing team members in the performance of their duties, managing poor performance as required Create reports for RSC executive and client management on security status Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g., implementation of new technology) Provide specialized security for and monitors access to limited and restricted access areas such as inventory areas, network equipment areas, and employee files and confidential records. Maintain confidentiality of RSC and Client privileged information, documents, proprietary processes, and communications to extend through two (2) years from the date of voluntary or involuntary termination of employment. Requirements and skills Proven experience as security manager or similar position Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g., CCTV) Experience in reporting and emergency response planning Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures Reasonable understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis Working knowledge of MS Office Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Outstanding organizational and leadership skills Committed and reliable Ability to adapt and overcome to everchanging company and client needs, developments, and landscape Periods of prolonged standing and walking at events and daily general operations. Must be able to lift 75+ pounds at a time. Ability to traverse various areas of the facility to conduct inspections and plan security procedures.High School Diploma:
