In this role, you will be the first line of defense in maintaining a safe and secure environment across our facilities. Your proactive approach, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will ensure the protection of personnel, property, and assets. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security expertise in a fast-paced setting while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining compliance with all security regulations. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including buildings, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to deter unauthorized access and identify potential hazards. Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and respond promptly to suspicious behavior or incidents. Control access points using security systems, perform background checks on visitors or contractors, and verify identification to ensure authorized entry. Respond swiftly to emergencies by following established procedures for fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches; operate AED (Automated External Defibrillator) devices as needed. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and accuracy for future reference. Assist with conflict de-escalation techniques to manage disputes calmly and professionally while maintaining safety for all parties involved. Support law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents by providing relevant information and cooperation. Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement or related fields is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of physical security measures including access control systems, surveillance equipment, and emergency response procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when required for equipment or incident management. Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation, and Taser use is preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications if not already held. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and conflict management; capable of writing clear incident reports. Physical fitness to stand, walk extensively during patrols, and respond quickly in emergency situations.
