Laguna Hills, CA Job Details Full-time $21 - $28 an hour 17 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Flexible schedule Paid sick time Qualifications Team supervision Company vehicle operation Driver's License Full Job Description GPI Security Services is seeking an experienced and dependable Post Commander / Mobile Patrol Officer for a security account in the Laguna Hills and Laguna Woods area. This is an active mobile patrol assignment responsible for providing security coverage to multiple nearby medical-office properties using a company-assigned patrol vehicle. This is not a stationary guard position . The selected Post Commander will be responsible for maintaining a visible security presence throughout the properties while also overseeing the daily organization and accountability of the security operation. Primary responsibilities include conducting vehicle and foot patrols throughout multiple properties and parking structures; opening designated stairwells, gates, and access points; checking buildings and parking areas for unauthorized persons, safety hazards, vandalism, property damage, water leaks, suspicious activity, and other concerns; conducting parking enforcement; documenting patrol activity and incidents; communicating significant issues to management and the client; maintaining accountability for assigned keys, equipment, phone, and patrol vehicle; reviewing pass-down information; and helping ensure security procedures are being followed consistently by the assigned team. The Post Commander must demonstrate strong communication, documentation, leadership, judgment, reliability, and attention to detail. The individual selected for this position should be comfortable working independently and making appropriate operational decisions while maintaining communication with GPI Operations.
