$23.00 / hour Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, disciplined, and attentive Armed Estate Security Specialist to oversee physical security and access control for a private residential estate in Malibu, California. The ideal candidate will maintain a secure environment, enforce safety protocols, and provide a protective presence across the property while ensuring a professional and respectful dynamic for estate residents, guests, and staff. Key Responsibilities Maintain active perimeter control, conduct routine foot patrols, and secure access points across the estate. Monitor CCTV networks, alarm monitoring panels, and entry logs in real time. Screen, log, and verify all incoming visitors, vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel. Respond promptly and calmly to security alerts, emergency situations, or unauthorized intrusions. Maintain clear communication logs and complete detailed shift activity reports. Assist with basic safety checks and coordinate safe entry/exit for estate residents.

Requirements & Qualifications Certifications:

Active California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Guard Card and Armed Exposed Firearm Permit (Required).

Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in armed security, asset protection, or access control.

Firearms Proficiency:

Demonstrated safe handling, marksmanship, and maintenance of permitted firearms.

Clearances:

Must pass a background check, drug screening, and state regulatory clearances.

Professionalism:

Strong communication skills, sound decision-making under pressure, and strict adherence to privacy/discretion.

Physical Fitness:

Ability to walk, stand, and patrol outdoor grounds in varying weather conditions throughout assigned shifts.

Driver's License:

Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.
