The founders of Lion Shield Protection have extensive law enforcement and military special operations backgrounds and we hold our guards to a very high standard and command presence. Lion Shield Protection employs only the most dedicated, customer oriented and career minded security officers in the industry. Due to rapid growth, we are seeking qualified security guards for one of our sites in the Moorpark area Part-time. The selected individuals will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. For further consideration, please send your updated resume. Responsibilities:

1+ years of experience in the security industry or customer service Must have a High School Diploma or GED Valid CA Guard Card Valid CA Driver's License Must be at least 18 years of age Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private) Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English Must be able to demonstrate the ability to be customer service oriented, with the ability to interact with all levels of individuals in a courteous manner Flexible schedule required, some shifts require weekend availability Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security Warn violators of premise rules and regulations Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations ​

Qualifications:

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, Military or other related fields a plus Familiarity with security equipment Strong attention to detail

Immediate Start Pay:

From $18.00 per hour
