Full-Time, Non-Exempt Job Overview Absolute International Security is seeking highly professional security guards responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, visitors, and property. This role requires a customer-service focused demeanor, a neat and tidy appearance, along with the ability to perform regular patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide a visible security presence. Key Responsibilities Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal & transient activity Perform thorough routine foot patrols of the daily assigned location (varies by day) including of school campuses, parking lots, and related facilities Report to a central location to receive daily assignments and drive to the assigned location, which may vary by day Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation Communicate effectively over radio, phone, or in person with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times Maintain authorized less-than-letahal equipment in compliance with company standards Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all Ability to drive a company patrol vehicle in a safe and defensive manner for driving positions Follow post orders, site protocols, and all relevant company procedures Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 26 years old for driving positions Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and additional client requirements Ability to pass MVR driving requirements for driving positions Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills Ability to write clear and accurate reports Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required Comfortable working outdoors, including during varied weather conditions Must have reliable transportation Must be dependable, committed to ethical conduct, and acts with integrity Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to company grooming and uniform standards License & Certification Requirements Valid California Guard Card Valid Government ID Valid Driver's License SchoolSB-1626 / SB-390
