Position Type:
Full-Time Position Overview ISMG is seeking professional, reliable, and customer-service-driven Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Officers . This position requires conducting mobile patrols in a company vehicle while maintaining a strong visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of persons and property. No weapons are carried for this position. Key Responsibilities Conduct mobile patrols of assigned properties using a company patrol vehicle Provide protection of persons, property, and facilities Complete hourly patrol tours using a Detex (guard tour) system Provide updates to Dispatch upon arrival and departure at each assigned property and ensure all site-specific post requirements are followed Communicate all incidents and activity with ISMG Dispatch (CAD system tracking) Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity Respond to calls for service and incidents in a timely and professional manner Utilize de-escalation techniques when handling confrontational individuals Operate mobile reporting and patrol verification software Perform foot patrols as needed in conjunction with vehicle patrol duties Enforce parking compliance, including issuing citations and coordinating vehicle towing in accordance with property rules and local regulations Work Environment & Physical Requirements Driving for extended periods during patrol shifts Standing and walking for inspections and incident response Climbing stairs, bending, and exiting/entering the patrol vehicle frequently Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions Ability to respond quickly to incidents and emergencies Qualifications Valid California Guard Card (Required) Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record (Required) Ability to safely operate a patrol vehicle Minimum 1 year vehicle patrol experience OR 3 years security experience (Required) Ability to effectively use a 2-way radio to communicate with ISMG Dispatch Strong communication and report-writing skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
