Job Summary:

As a 24/7 Rover Security Guard with Guard West Security Services, you will be responsible for filling in across various client sites throughout the San Diego area. You will ensure the safety and security of people and property, enforce client policies, and support site-specific teams when coverage is needed. This is a full-time position that requires open availability and a strong ability to adapt quickly to different environments and tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to shift coverage needs across multiple client sites in the San Diego area. Patrol properties (on foot and/or vehicle) and ensure a secure environment. Control access to facilities and monitor for suspicious activity. Handle alarms, incidents, and emergencies professionally and promptly. Interact with clients, staff, and the public with courtesy and professionalism. Complete thorough incident and activity reports as required. Follow post orders and company procedures at all times. Maintain readiness to support a wide variety of security assignments, including events, overnight patrols, and urgent shift coverage.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid California Guard Card. Must have 24/7 open availability , including nights, weekends, and holidays. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites throughout San Diego. Strong communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and remain calm in high-pressure situations. Prior security experience preferred but not required.
