Responsibilities Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations for entry and exit. Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes and maintaining order. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping. Utilize surveillance technology and loss prevention techniques to prevent theft or vandalism on site. Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Valid certification in first aid, CPR, and conflict management; additional certifications such as CCTV operation or loss prevention are a plus. Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and security protocols. Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while standing or walking for extended periods. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively. Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts professionally while ensuring safety for all parties involved. Must possess a valid security guard license where applicable by state law.
