Job Description
We are seeking dependable and professional Security Officers to provide full premises security services at a retail facility. Officers will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, associates, and property while representing the company in a professional manner at all times.
Part Time Key Responsibilities:
Provide indoor and outdoor security coverage throughout the facility Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols , including all parking areas and the rear of the building Utilize a company-provided patrol vehicle when assigned Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, vandalism, and unsafe behavior Perform all duties in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner When approached by customers, politely refer them to Walmart facility management for assistance Follow and enforce site-specific post orders approved by the client Work under active supervisory support and report incidents or concerns as required
Time & Attendance Compliance:
Properly check in and check out using the facility's automated or technology-assisted time and attendance system Check-in must be completed immediately before reporting to post at the start of each shift Check-out must be completed immediately upon leaving post before exiting the facility System use may require placing a call from an authorized store telephone Officers must ensure accurate time reporting, as system records may be reviewed for compliance
Professional Standards:
Maintain a professional appearance at all times while on duty Uniforms are required and must be clean, neat, properly fitted, and free of holes or damage Communicate in a manner that is professional, respectful, honest, timely, and responsive in all situations ## Qualifications
- Must have a valid CA driver license
- Must have a valid and current CA guard card
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug test
