$17.40 per hour Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available Echelon Security Group, Inc., a Visalia-based security company serving clients throughout California's Central Valley, is expanding our team and seeking e•_ xperienced, professional Licensed Security Officers _ for both _ commercial posted security assignments and special event security.•_ We are the primary security provider for many of the region's premier venues, events, businesses, and organizations. Our officers work everything from concerts, sporting events, and major regional events to professional commercial properties and long-term client assignments. We are specifically looking for experienced officers who have completed their full 40 hours of California BSIS security officer training, not simply the initial 8-hour Guard Card course. TWO TYPES OF OPPORTUNITIESCOMMERCIAL POSTED SECURITY

Our commercial officers are assigned to professional client locations throughout the region and may be responsible for: Maintaining a highly visible and professional security presence Conducting foot patrols and property inspections Monitoring entrances, exits, parking areas, and other designated locations Observing and reporting suspicious activity, safety concerns, and unusual circumstances Enforcing client site rules within the scope of assigned duties Preparing clear and accurate security reports Interacting professionally with employees, customers, visitors, and members of the public Working independently while remaining accountable to Echelon supervisors and management Commercial assignments may provide opportunities for consistent, ongoing schedules depending upon client needs, officer availability, qualifications, and performance.

SPECIAL EVENT SECURITY

Echelon provides security for some of the largest and most recognizable events and venues in the region.

Event assignments may include:

Concerts Conventions Sporting events Fairs and festivals Comedy shows Rodeos Corporate and community events Private and VIP events As an Event Security Officer, you may: Screen attendees at entrance gates to prevent prohibited items from entering the facility Greet and professionally interact with guests Staff fixed security posts throughout the venue Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas Maintain established access-control points Assist with crowd movement and guest safety Work alongside an experienced security team in a fast-moving environment Our goal is simple: provide effective security while helping create a safe, professional, and enjoyable environment for everyone attending the event.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must: Possess a current California BSIS Guard Card Have completed the full 40 hours of BSIS-required security officer training Have prior professional security experience Be dependable and punctual Maintain a professional appearance Communicate effectively and respectfully Be capable of following written Post Orders and supervisor direction Be comfortable working with the public Be capable of accurately documenting incidents and observations Work effectively as part of a professional security team Applicants who have completed only the initial 8-hour Guard Card course and have not yet completed their additional BSIS training are not the candidates we are currently seeking for these positions.
