We are looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Licensed Unarmed Security Officer to join our cannabis dispensary team. Responsibilities Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees Monitor the entrance, exits, and surrounding areas Verify customer identification in accordance with dispensary policies Monitor for suspicious activity, theft, or safety concerns Assist with maintaining a calm and professional environment Conduct regular security checks of the property Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies Complete incident reports when necessary Follow all dispensary and security procedures Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional security presence Requirements Current California BSIS Security Guard Registration (Guard Card) required Unarmed position — no firearm required Must be at least 18 years old Professional appearance and communication skills Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to remain alert and on your feet for extended periods Previous security, retail, or cannabis industry experience preferred Must be able to pass any required background screening Schedule 5 days per week 2 consecutive or scheduled days off per week Full-time hours Availability for opening and closing shifts may be required Compensation Starting at $20/hour, with opportunities for increased compensation based on experience, performance, and reliability.
