6:00 PM - 4:00 AM Citadel Security USA is seeking a professional Armed Security Officer to support security operations in Glenwood Springs. This position is responsible for helping maintain a safe environment for visitors, staff, and our clients property. The role includes conducting routine patrols throughout the property, monitoring indoor and outdoor activity, and responding to security-related concerns in a professional manner. Primary Duties Facility Security & Patrol Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols throughout the property campus Inspect entrances, parking areas, walkways, and restricted locations Monitor property conditions and identify potential security or safety concerns Public Interaction & Incident Response Interact professionally with visitors, contractors, and staff Respond to disturbances, suspicious activity, or policy violations according to site procedures Support personnel during security-related incidents Observation & Reporting Remain alert to unusual behavior, safety hazards, or operational concerns Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately Prepare detailed reports in accordance with company and client requirements Communicate important information to supervisors and designated property personnel Safety & Professional Standards Follow all post orders, property policies, and company procedures Maintain professional appearance and conduct while on duty Safely carry authorized security equipment in accordance with company policy and applicable laws Exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive or high-stress situations Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Must be legally eligible to possess and carry a firearm in the state of Colorado while performing assigned job duties Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to remain calm and professional during difficult interactions Reliable attendance and punctuality Equal Opportunity Employer Citadel Security USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
