The State of Connecticut, Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS), is currently looking to hire a part time Building and Grounds Patrol Officer for Bullard Havens Technical High School in Bridgeport, CT.Position Highlights:

Part-time | First shift | 35 hours per weekSCHEDULE
8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through FridayNOTE:
This is a ten (10) month position, returning to work once school resumes, following the summer break.The Role:
Enforce regulations relating to parking and traffic control as established by the assigned agency; Direct traffic on state property; Issue tickets for violations; Provide information and assistance to visitors; Guard entrance and exits to prevent trespass, vandalism, theft and other violations; Perform routine vehicle and foot patrol duty and monitor security alarm systems to detect theft and other criminal acts; Provide security escorts; Provide first aid when necessary; Perform dispatching and record keeping functions at a desk post.
