Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and respond promptly to incidents. Schedule Friday Saturday Sunday 5pm-11:30pm Responsibilities Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities. Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities and ensure safety protocols are followed. Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or incidents, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR. Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to ensure compliance with legal regulations. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. Manage conflicts with professionalism and de-escalate situations as needed. Requirements Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment (CCTV). Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies is a plus. Military experience may be advantageous but is not required. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
