- Now seeking qualified individuals to fill part-time positions at a well-known cultural property in Storrs, CT. We are looking for people who are professionals in appearance, attitude, and conduct. Interest in and understanding the arts, and history, are also helpful
- as well as the desire and ability to help create a comfortable and welcoming experience for all visitors
- in addition to being observant for maintenance, safety, and security issues
- and general security of the facility.
Duties include:
Lobby duty / Interior & Exterior patrols / Assist visitors who may have questionsRequirements:
5+ years of experience in a similar security role (Museum security or University security)CLEAN RECORD
(no criminal activity) Valid driver's license Must be at least 21 years of age or older Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree is preferred) Excellent customer service skills / Good communication skills Willingness to complete Certified Protection Institutional Specialist course & exam (company paid) OR have the credential already Strong attendance background from former employers Ability to stay later for special events in the evening on Thursday or FridaysMUST HAVE A VALID CT GUARD CARD
Position available: Friday 9:30am- 4:30pm Saturday 12:30pm
- 4:30pm Sunday 12:30pm
- 4:30pm Pay rate: $29.
