As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Delaware City, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations. Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
