Position:

Port Security Officer Terminal Security Solutions is hiring Port Security Officers to support security operations at Port Canaveral . This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, professional, customer-service oriented, and comfortable working in a busy port environment. Pay & Schedule $18.65 per hour Part-time Availability required Thursday through Monday Shifts may fall between 4:00 AM and 5:00 PM Weekend(Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and holiday availability required Overtime opportunities may be available based on operational needs Same-day job offers may be available for qualified candidates Responsibilities Port Security Officers may be responsible for: Monitoring access points and secured areas Checking identification and required credentials Verifying TWIC cards and other access credentials Monitoring passengers, employees, vendors, and vehicles Conducting security patrols Documenting security activity and incidents Providing professional customer service Following applicable port security procedures and regulations Supporting a safe and secure environment throughout port operations

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Valid and active Florida Class D Security License Valid TWIC card or TWIC receipt Two valid forms of identification Ability to successfully complete required background screening Ability to successfully complete required drug screening High school diploma or GED Professional communication and customer-service skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Required availability Thursday through Monday Benefits & Opportunities $18.65/hour starting pay Flexible scheduling based on operational needs Daily Pay options may be available Referral program - up to $100 per qualified referral, subject to program terms Professional development opportunities Paid training Opportunities for additional hours based on operational needs Career growth opportunities Interested in Meeting With Us?
