Marksman Security is seeking a dependable, alert, and technology-savvy SOC Officer to monitor and coordinate response across our client portfolio from a premier corporate command center. This role calls for sharp attention to detail, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to keeping people and property safe.   • well-groomed and business-appropriate at all times Clear, fluent, professional communication skills, both written and verbal Composed and confident interacting with senior executives and high-profile visitors Key Responsibilities Monitor CCTV, alarm, and access control systems from the Security Operations Center Dispatch officers and coordinate response to alarms, incidents, or emergencies across client sites Respond to calls of distress or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized persons by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams Prepare clear, concise, and accurate incident reports and shift logs Operate SOC monitoring platforms, incident reporting software, and email Demonstrate strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and clear radio/telephone communication Manage multiple simultaneous alerts and tasks in a high-pressure environment Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor Qualifications Applicants must meet one or any reasonable combination of the following: Two years of customer service experience AND one year of verifiable security experience Dispatch / Communications experience in a security or 911 call center environment Requirements Valid FL Security License Valid FL Driver's License High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands Familiarity with report writing Excellent surveillance and observation skills Above-average written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public Comfort working extended monitoring shifts, including early mornings and evenings Ability to complete a structured multi-week training program Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred Compensation & Benefits $21.
