Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring the property through surveillance systems, conducting thorough security checks, and maintaining a visible presence to deter potential threats. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a safe environment for everyone on site. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify and address any suspicious activity or safety hazard Manage access control by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes when necessary Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if needed Enforce loss prevention measures by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting findings Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when required for equipment or incident response Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in performing background checks and security assessments Physical fitness to stand, walk, or perform patrols for extended periods of time This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a difference by maintaining a safe environment.
