Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Armed Security Officer to safeguard our premises, personnel, and assets. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, access control, and rapid emergency response. Your expertise in law enforcement procedures, conflict management, and security protocols will ensure the safety of all individuals on-site. Location:

Kendall Area. Duties Conduct thorough patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for employees, visitors, and contractors Respond swiftly to emergencies using established procedures, including fire safety, medical incidents, or security threats Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns, breaches, or unusual activity for record-keeping and follow-up Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to monitor premises continuously and identify potential risks Handle physical security tasks including heavy lifting when necessary and performing manual handling with safety precautions in mind Utilize non-lethal defense tools such as Tasers and conduct firearm handling responsibly when authorized and trained Perform conflict de-escalation techniques to manage confrontations calmly and professionally while maintaining safety for all parties Execute emergency response procedures effectively, including

CPR, AED

operation, first aid administration, and fire safety protocols Enforce compliance with all security regulations and company policies to uphold a safe environment at all times Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly preferred Valid certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is required; additional certifications such as firearm handling are advantageous Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, access control systems, and physical security measures Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely in accordance with safety standards Excellent incident report writing skills with attention to detail and clarity Demonstrated conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively Familiarity with emergency response procedures including fire safety protocols and medical emergencies Exceptional customer service skills combined with a professional demeanor under pressure Ability to perform background checks when needed and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Able to sign an NDA; None disclosure agreement.
