Security Officer (Part-Time )Spanish Sea Ranch Club C Condominium, Inc Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL Job Details Full-time $16 - $17 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Crime prevention Computer operation Spanish Professional ethics Compliance with security regulations Physical surveillance High school diploma or GED Public safety procedures Security system monitoring (security system operation) Computer skills Full Job Description One (1) security officer needed: We are looking for one (1) professional security guard to protect our premises, assets and personnel for one (1) open position. 7AM-3PM and one Day from 3PM to 11PM- thirty -two (32) hours ; Monday, Friday(3PM-11PM) Saturday and Sunday. You will maintain a high visibility presence, prevent inappropriate actions and assist residents for a luxury condominium. We offer health insurance, competitive salary, paid time off and vacation with annual raises. Responsibilities;
- Monitor the company's property and maintain a safe and secure environment
- Watch for signs of crime or disorder; investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully at all times in direct defense of life or property
- Act as a consistent presence to deter criminals
- Report any suspicious/unusual occurrences to authorities and management
- Patrol premises randomly and regularly, including buildings and perimeter
- Monitor and control access to building entrances and vehicle gates
- Monitor alarm systems and video cameras
- Perform first-aid or CPR if needed Requirements;
- High school degree or equivalent . Spanish speaking a plus, but not a requirement.
- Work experience as a security guard or other relevant position
- Basic computer skills necessary for reporting and communications
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Extensive working knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Willingness to comply with all laws and institutional regulations at all times
- Keen surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity, professionalism, and character beyond reproach
