SFM Services is looking for professional, reliable, and dedicated Security Officers to join our team for Night Shift positions. As a member of the SFM Services team, you will play an important role in helping maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our employees, customers, visitors, and properties. Because SFM Services provides security services at multiple locations, available positions may vary by site based on current operational needs. The specific location, schedule, and site responsibilities will be discussed during the hiring process. Essential Job Functions Security Officers are responsible for protecting people, property, and assets while providing professional and dependable security services. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Patrol assigned areas regularly to maintain visibility and deter criminal or suspicious activity. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify potential security threats. Conduct security checks of buildings, grounds, and equipment. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or calls for assistance and take appropriate action. Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and guests. Prepare detailed incident reports documenting security-related incidents, accidents, or disturbances. Enforce access control procedures, including verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes. Communicate and cooperate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing SFM Services. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements A minimum of one year of Security Officer experience is highly preferred. Must possess a valid Class "D" Security Officer License. Depending on the assigned location, proficiency in English, Spanish, or both may be required. Effective oral and written communication skills, including radio communication. Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards. Ability to work overnight/night shifts, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as required. Reliable and punctual attendance. Must successfully complete pre-employment screening, including a Level 2 Background Check and drug test.
