We are currently accepting applications from individuals interested in a Floater Position (on-call 24/7 availability) as well as Full-Time Security Guard position . In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring the property, ensuring the safety of staff and visitors, and preventing loss or damage. Your proactive approach and keen attention to detail will help maintain a secure environment where everyone can thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to serve as the frontline protector of our community, utilizing your skills in surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to deter unauthorized access and identify potential hazards. Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior or security breaches. Verify the identities of visitors, contractors, and employees through proper procedures before granting access. Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Enforce safety protocols and conduct conflict management to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping and reporting purposes. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism risks and implementing preventative measures. Skills Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and security technology Familiarity with law enforcement practices and legal considerations related to security operations. Excellent conflict management skills with a calm, assertive demeanor. Proven ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism while maintaining vigilance at all times.
