Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Valid License in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and a collaborative approach.

Hour Job Schedule:
This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as required, and maintain awareness of visitor and vehicle activity in accordance with site policies. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and unusual conditions; communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
