Unarmed Job Description We are seeking a professional and dependable Unarmed Event Security Officer for a private wedding in Odessa, Florida. The primary responsibility will be access control and maintaining a professional security presence throughout the event. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, good judgment, and the ability to interact respectfully with guests, vendors, and event staff. Responsibilities Monitor access to the event and ensure only authorized individuals enter restricted areas. Maintain a visible and professional security presence. Communicate courteously and professionally with guests and event staff. Monitor the event area and report any safety or security concerns. Help maintain a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment. Follow event-specific instructions provided by the event organizer. Remain attentive and professional throughout the assigned shift. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional and courteous demeanor. Reliable and punctual. Able to remain calm and professional in a busy event environment. Good judgment and situational awareness. Previous security or event security experience is preferred. Must meet any applicable licensing or legal requirements for unarmed security work in Florida. Attire Professional business attire is required. A suit is preferred. A button-down shirt with dress pants and dress shoes is acceptable if a suit is not available. Additional Information Additional event details, access-control procedures, and specific responsibilities will be discussed during the interview and provided to the selected candidate. We are looking for someone who understands that wedding security requires both professional security awareness and excellent guest interaction skills.
