The Quality Technician I performs trained quality control activities independently and consistently within established procedures. This position is responsible for completing routine QC activities, maintaining accurate and complete documentation, recognizing discrepancies or conditions outside of established processes, and escalating questions or concerns appropriately. The Quality Technician I builds technical knowledge and quality system experience through hands-on training and routine QC responsibilities while supporting the Quality department's day-to-day activities. Responsibilities Independently performs routine QC tasks after training is completed. Follows SOPs, forms, and established workflows consistently. Maintains accurate and complete documentation. Understands the general purpose of QC activities. Temp/Humidity/Pressure Monitoring Visual Inspection Quarantine and Release Lab Submissions Capsule Assessment Bubble Point Testing Labeling Record Storage Incoming Materials Check-in CoA review Other duties as may be assigned Physical Requirements Must be able to work in a variety of positions locations such as sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and walking, for prolonged periods of time Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds Standing for long periods of time Must be able to use necessary equipment such as computers, scanners, or other technology devices as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required College degree in a related field preferred
