Cox Automotive is seeking a Quality Control Body Repair Tech II to ensure high-quality vehicle body repairs across our remarketing and retail operations. You will inspect repaired vehicles, verify body and paint work against Cox standards, and identify defects or rework needs. Partner with body technicians to diagnose issues, provide feedback, and maintain repair documentation. Use measuring tools and OEM guidelines to confirm structural and cosmetic accuracy. Support continuous improvement, safety, and 5S practices while collaborating with operations teams in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. Responsibilities Inspect vehicle body and paint repairs to ensure they meet Cox Automotive and OEM standards. Identify defects, structural concerns, and cosmetic issues and document required rework. Collaborate with body and paint technicians to communicate findings and corrective actions. Use measuring tools, OEM procedures, and repair specs to validate structural integrity. Maintain accurate quality control records and repair documentation in shop systems. Support safety, 5 S, and continuous improvement initiatives in the body repair area. Assist in training and mentoring technicians on quality standards and best practices. Coordinate with operations teams to prioritize vehicles and meet turnaround time goals.
