Unarmed Security Officer - Full-Time Resort Security A resort in Ormond Beach is seeking dependable and professional individuals to join its security team. This position is ideal for someone who is observant, reliable, comfortable interacting with guests, and committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the resort property, parking areas, and common spaces Watch for safety, security, and property concerns Assist guests and resort staff when needed Document incidents and complete daily activity reports Respond calmly and professionally to disturbances, emergencies, and unusual situations Report suspicious activity or conditions requiring attention Help maintain a secure and guest-friendly environment throughout the property Qualifications Previous security experience required Strong attendance, punctuality, and dependability Reliable transportation Ability to successfully pass a background check Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable working in a hospitality and guest-service environment Ability to remain alert and use good judgment while working independently Schedule This is a full-time position with varying scheduling needs. Applicants must be available to work: Weekends Holidays Day, evening, and/or overnight shifts Rotating schedules as needed Security License A Florida unarmed security license is not required for this position.
