POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dependable and professional individual to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment during overnight hours. In this role, you will support site safety through regular patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and clear communication with team members and leadership. The ideal candidate is attentive, calm under pressure, and committed to following established procedures. Responds to calls for assistance after hours via Emergency Alert System and/or phone call.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers; summoning assistance from 911 if necessary. Answering calls for assistance from Residents and visitors. Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations in all campus buildings. Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions Other duties as assigned.
