Operate access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Conduct surveillance using CCTV cameras and other security technology to detect suspicious behavior or security breaches. Respond swiftly to emergencies by executing established procedures such as first aid, CPR, AED operation, fire safety protocols, and emergency evacuation plans. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and accuracy. Perform background checks on visitors or personnel as required to ensure compliance with security policies. Manage conflict de-escalation techniques effectively while maintaining professionalism during tense situations. Skills Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, access control procedures, and physical security practices. Experience in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable for understanding security protocols and emergency response procedures. Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety to provide immediate assistance when needed. Skilled in manual handling techniques including heavy lifting to assist with equipment or incident management. Proficient in incident report writing with attention to detail for legal and operational purposes. Ability to perform background checks accurately while adhering to privacy regulations. Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle diverse situations professionally.
