Sensitive Compartmented Information Specialist shall: The SCI Security Specialist is responsible for protecting classified national security information within Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and ensuring compliance with all applicable security regulations, policies, and procedures. This role supports personnel, physical, information, and industrial security programs involving SCI and collateral classified information. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain SCI and collateral security programs. Process and track security clearances, indoctrinations, debriefings, and access requests. Conduct security briefings, training, and awareness programs. Manage visitor control, access control, and SCIF operations. Perform security inspections, self-assessments, and compliance reviews. Investigate and report security incidents, violations, and suspicious activities. Maintain classified document accountability and destruction records. Coordinate with government security officials, contractors, and program personnel. Ensure compliance with Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), National Industrial Security Program (NISP), and Department of Defense security requirements. Support classified meetings, conferences, and secure communications. Required Qualifications Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI). 3-7+ years of experience in personnel, physical, information, or SCI security. Knowledge of Intelligence Community security policies and procedures. Experience operating within SCIF environments. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity. Preferred Qualifications Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC), Industrial Security Professional (ISP), or similar certification. Experience with security databases such as DISS, NBIS, or Scattered Castles. Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business, or related field. Work Environment Located within the Secured Facility Fort Gordon. Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance throughout employment.
