Decatur, GA Job Details $26.93 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Team management Full Job Description Company Overview Culpepper & Associates Security Services, Inc. is seeking a professional and experienced Security Supervisor (Lieutenant) to support operations for the Atlanta Veterans Administration Healthcare System's main VA hospital. We are looking for a strong leader who can manage personnel, ensure contract compliance, and maintain high standards of professionalism and accountability. Position Summary The Security Supervisor (Lieutenant) will oversee security operations and manage multiple employees across all shifts. This role requires strong leadership, operational oversight, scheduling coordination, and the ability to respond to issues with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Supervise and manage assigned security personnel Ensure all contractual obligations are met Conduct inspections and monitor officer performance Coordinate and manage shift schedules Resolve shift issues and operational challenges Prepare and maintain written reports and logs Maintain high morale and professional standards Provide exceptional customer service
Experience & Skills:
Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to exercise independent judgment Ability to read and understand operating procedures Ability to prepare clear, legible reports Intermediate computer skills (wireless technology systems) Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to remain calm and efficient in crisis situations
