PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at an automotive manufacturing or dealership location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access. Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and vehicle movements in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and policy violations through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
