Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Emergency Readiness in Mossville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools. Bring your EMT certification and firefighting experience to a team at Allied Universal that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and driven by integrity.

AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support site requirements.

Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors, documenting entries, and reporting unauthorized activity according to site-specific procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and request additional support as needed.

Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

EMT certification is required.

Previous firefighting experience is required.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
