As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driving Role in Ottawa, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Bring integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach while supporting a collaborative team in a dynamic environment.

AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in an industrial chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and notifications to appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
