AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry and exit records, and direct personnel, contractors, and deliveries according to site requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and escalating concerns through established procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the business perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and policy violations. Support a controlled site environment by following access-control protocols, documenting activities accurately, and coordinating with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
