Immediately Job Description Assists the administration in maintaining a safe and orderly school environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in student supervision throughout the school day and after school hours.
  • Assist in building relationships with students to create a positive school culture.
  • Monitor students in the atrium area, cafeteria, and hallways throughout the school day including afternoon dismissal times.
  • Monitor students specifically in the cafeteria or other spaces during lunch.
  • Monitor students during whole school class changes.
  • Escort specific students to needed areas such as office areas, guidance, and to class as needed.
  • Routinely check student bathrooms throughout the day and check to make sure that exterior doors are locked and secured.
  • Other duties assigned by Administration
Physical Requirements:

Minimum physical effort is generally required to perform duties under typical department conditions. The work involves sitting, with intermittent periods of stooping, walking, and standing. May be required to lift objects such as files, boxes of paper, office supplies, and office equipment weighing up to 30 pounds. Vision requirements include the ability to read routine and complex documents, use a computer and office equipment.
