Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to loss prevention. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring premises through CCTV and surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Schedule(s): Schedule 1: Tue-Sat (Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri 3pm-11pm / Sat 7am-3pm) Schedule 2: Fri-Mon (Fri 7am-3pm / Sat, Sun, Mon 3pm-11pm) Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of personnel and property. Utilize CCTV and surveillance equipment to observe activities and detect suspicious behavior. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, providing first aid when necessary. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities for management review. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or emergencies. Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and protocols to ensure effective response during crises. Qualifications Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and visitors. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
