Job Description
We help make your world a safer place. Securitas is currently hiring a Mobile FLEX Security Officer to support mobile security operations throughout the North of Boston / Merrimack Valley area. This is a driving-based security position that requires strong weekend availability, flexibility, and the ability to respond to changing operational needs. This is not a stationary security assignment. Mobile Officers operate a company patrol vehicle and travel between client properties to complete patrols, respond to calls, assist with coverage needs, and support security operations. This FLEX position is best suited for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, and interested in picking up shifts based on business needs. Hours are not guaranteed each week, but candidates must have reliable availability Friday through Sunday between 3:00 PM and 7:00 AM in order to be considered. Previous security experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Wilmington, MA This position may support mobile patrol routes, call-outs, temporary coverage needs, alarm response, guard checks, and other operational assignments as needed. Important Driving Requirement A valid driver's license and a clean driving record meeting Securitas Safe Driving requirements are required. This is a professional driving position. The officer may operate a company patrol vehicle for a significant portion of the shift and must consistently follow traffic laws, posted speed limits, seatbelt requirements, and Securitas safe-driving policies. Securitas patrol vehicles are equipped with Samsara vehicle-safety technology that monitors driving activity and behavior . Candidates must be comfortable working in a monitored company vehicle and receiving coaching or corrective action when necessary. Safe and responsible driving is a condition of employment. About the Position As a Mobile FLEX Security Officer, you will help support mobile security operations when coverage is needed. Assignments may vary depending on staffing, client needs, call-outs, route coverage, alarm response, and other operational priorities. Assignments may include scheduled or randomized patrol inspections, alarm response, guard checks, opening or securing facilities, key-control duties, temporary site coverage, and assisting with route coverage when needed. This role requires strong availability, sound judgment, safe driving habits, clear communication, accurate reporting, and the ability to work independently.What You'll Do:
Mobile Patrol and Route Support Safely operate an assigned Securitas patrol vehicle and travel between client properties as assigned. Coverage Support Assist with shift coverage, call-outs, mobile route needs, guard checks, and temporary site coverage based on operational needs. Patrols and Site Inspections Conduct exterior and/or interior patrol inspections according to site instructions. Check buildings, grounds, parking areas, doors, windows, gates, access points, lighting, and other security-related areas. Alarm Response and Escalation Respond to alarm activations and dispatched calls when assigned. Follow established procedures and escalate concerns to supervisors, emergency services, client representatives, or the Securitas operations team when required. Reporting and Documentation Use smartphones, GPS, mobile reporting applications, and other technology to document completed services. Prepare accurate activity and incident reports, including photographs when required. Safety and Communication Immediately report security concerns, route delays, vehicle issues, accidents, missed services, or situations requiring assistance. Key and Equipment Control Securely maintain assigned keys, access devices, equipment, and patrol vehicles. Who This Role Is aGood Fit For:

Valid driver's license required. Clean driving record meeting Securitas Safe Driving requirements required. Willingness to operate a company vehicle equipped with Samsara monitoring. Flexible availability Friday-Sunday between 3:00 PM and 7:00 AM required. Ability to work hours based on operational needs; hours may vary week to week. Previous security experience is preferred, but not required. Previous mobile patrol, alarm response, military, law enforcement, public safety, delivery, transportation, route driving, dispatch, logistics, or customer service experience is a plus. Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to follow detailed post orders and site procedures. Ability to complete accurate reports and daily activity logs. Ability to drive for extended periods and frequently enter and exit a vehicle. Ability to stand, walk, patrol, climb stairs, and respond to incidents throughout the shift. Must be professional, reliable, and able to meet site expectations.Benefits:
