The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with tractor-trailer units, and possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This role involves transporting freight across designated routes while ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to all regulations. M-F between 6:00am
  • 6:00pm with staggered shifts.
Duties Operate tractor-trailer vehicles, including manual transmission, and other types of trucks as required. Load and unload freight safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and delivery details. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport. Assist in route planning to optimize delivery efficiency and minimize delays. Provide courteous, professional customer service at delivery and pick-up sites Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A) with a clean driving record. Follow TSA Chain of Custody protocols and ensure freight is protected at all times. Comply with all DOT, TSA, and company safety policies and procedures. Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers. Experience in route driving with a focus on timely deliveries is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Drivers are expected to actively use dispatch and tracking app throughout each shift to receive assignments, confirm deliveries, and provide real-time visibility to operations Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
