THURSDAY•SATURDAY 6:00PM•12:00AM Benefits/Perks Career Advancement Opportunities Competitive Compensation Consistent Schedule Job Summary We are seeking a professional Security Guard to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment. You will protect our premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal candidate has experience with public safety and security and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times. Responsibilities Conduct mobile vehicle patrols of designated streets, courts, and common areas Maintain a high level of visibility throughout the community Monitor parking and document violations according to community guidelines Monitor amenity areas, the community perimeter, and garage units Observe, verbally address when appropriate, and report community rule violations Respond appropriately to reports of suspicious activity and security concerns Coordinate with Prince George's County law enforcement when necessary Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports Complete required supervisory check-ins throughout each shift Follow all site-specific post orders and company policies Maintain professional and courteous interactions with residents, visitors, and community representatives Qualifications Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred High school diploma/GED Valid Maryland Security Guard Card/Certification Valid driver's license with a safe driving history Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures Excellent written communication skills and report-writing ability High level of integrity and professionalism Strong attention to detail and observational skills Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision Must be dependable and punctual
