About the Role Dunbar Security Solutions is hiring a dependable Full-Time Morning Security Officer for an industrial facility in Elkton. This position is responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, contractors, visitors, and company property during daily operations. The ideal candidate is attentive, professional, and comfortable working independently in an active industrial setting. Officers in this role are expected to remain alert, respond appropriately to incidents, and maintain a visible security presence throughout the facility. Key Responsibilities Maintain a professional and visible presence throughout assigned areas of the property Monitor entrances, gates, loading docks, and restricted access points Observe surveillance systems, alarms, and access control equipment Conduct routine patrols of buildings, parking lots, storage areas, and perimeter locations Report suspicious activity, unsafe conditions, or policy violations promptly Respond to alarms, emergencies, or incidents following site procedures Contact law enforcement, fire, or medical personnel when required Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation Provide courteous assistance to employees, vendors, and visitors Follow all company policies, post orders, and safety procedures Qualifications Valid Maryland Security Officer License required Ability to pass background screening and drug testing Reliable transportation required Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in an industrial environment Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods Strong attention to detail and observation skills Dependable attendance and ability to work independently Professional communication and customer service skills Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies or unexpected situations Why Join Dunbar Security Solutions Opportunity to work with a professional and supportive team Experience in industrial and facility security operations Competitive compensation and advancement opportunities Ongoing training and operational support Stable full-time schedule Equal Opportunity Employer Dunbar Security Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
