As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Customer Service in Carleton, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location by conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide welcoming customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized entry. Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and First Aid experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
