Pay:

$18.50 per hour What You'll Do As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting General Motors, responsibilities may include: Maintain a professional and visible security presence Monitor assigned areas and report suspicious activity or security concerns Control access for employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors Monitor entrances, exits, vehicle traffic, and controlled access points Conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols Inspect inbound and outbound packages as required Identify unsafe conditions, security violations, and potential hazards Respond to alarms, incidents, medical emergencies, fires, hazardous materials incidents, and other emergencies in accordance with established procedures Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs Secure incident scenes and protect evidence when necessary Support emergency response and evacuation procedures Provide professional customer service while maintaining security awareness Follow established security procedures and post orders Minimum Qualifications Candidates must: Have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Meet all applicable security officer licensing and certification requirements Be able to successfully complete required background and pre-employment screening Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and attention to detail Be able to remain calm and respond appropriately during emergency situations Be able to work independently and as part of a team Be dependable and able to report to assigned shifts as scheduled Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods Conduct routine patrols throughout assigned areas Climb stairs as required Lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required Respond promptly during emergency situations Work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions Why Join Inter-Con?
