PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor and control entry and exit points at a utility industrial location, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel according to site requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Document daily activities, access-control events, and unusual occurrences accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess EMT certification. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
