Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Eden Prairie, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will support a welcoming environment through strong customer service, clear communication, and a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven approach.

PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities throughout the retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout stores, common areas, entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, observe for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and document security-related incidents according to post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
