Overview:
Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercys coworkers, patients, and visitors. Promotes and practices fire and safety prevention. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Education•High School Diploma•18 years of age or older
Licensure:
•Valid State drivers license•Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 90 days of hire)
Certification/Registration:
Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure) Officers in areas where there isn't a licensing body, Completed IAHSS Basic.
Other Skills and Knowledge :
Ability to read and write the English language
Preferred Qualifications Education :
College degree
Licensure:
Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required.
