Security Guard (Overnight 8PM-8AM)

- 17 per hour | Full-Time | Structured 12-Hour Rotation Lost Valley Lake Resort is accepting applications for a professional and dependable Overnight Security Guard (8PM-8AM) position.

- Off (36 hours) ✔ Every other weekend off ✔ Built-in 3-day breaks ✔ Predictable, repeating rotation This established rotation remains consistent once assigned and is essential to maintaining full overnight coverage of the resort. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled patrols of resort property and facilities
- Monitor buildings and grounds for safety and policy compliance
- Enforce resort policies in a firm, fair, and professional manner
- Respond appropriately to disturbances, complaints, and emergencies
- Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
- Monitor access points and verify identification when required
- Maintain a visible, consistent security presence overnight Overnight guards work independently and are expected to exercise sound judgment without direct supervision. Qualifications & Requirements Reliability & Accountability
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Consistent attendance and punctuality are mandatory Reporting as scheduled for this position is mandatory. Professional Standards
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed during difficult situations
- Consistent, unbiased enforcement of policies Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required. Availability
- Must be available for overnight shifts
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions Winter Operations During snow and ice conditions, on-site housing is available to security staff to ensure safe reporting and uninterrupted overnight coverage. (Inclement weather only, not a residence) Pre-Employment Requirements
